Will You Read My Work if I Send It To You?
No. Period. I cannot due to liability issues, due to time constraints, and due to the fact that what little spare time I have, I want to use to relax in and enjoy my home and family. I'm not a writing teacher, I'm not here to be a guru. Read my advice for writing and recommended reading list please.
And you will NOT be an exception to the rule so don't send it to me anyway thinking I'll be dazzled. At best, it will be returned to you unread. At worst, shredded unread and no return note will be sent to you and any subsequent mail from you will be returned unread at your expense.

For endorsements of books, please follow this procedure: All requests for cover quotes must be submitted through my editor/publisher and they MUST be submitted snail mail. Books must be print (no e-books) and no self-published books. Please send your request in writing to:

No phone calls or email please, and allow plenty of time for a decision. Be aware: I'm on a very tight schedule and am not agreeing to any requests at this point, until after March 2011. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Email & Snail Mail
Okay, here's the deal: I love to hear from my readers, but my assistant reviews and answers most of my email. Sorry--that's the way it is. But she will let me know what's coming in! :) Please note: we are running a lag time of about two-three months. If you have a question PLEASE CHECK THE FAQs first before emailing us. We will no longer answer questions already answered on this website--we simply do not have the time to handle the volume of email that asks the same few questions over and over again without checking the site first.

If you want an answer, please include an SASE--a stamped, self-addressed envelope (this means you address the envelope TO yourself and put a clean stamp on it so I can drop it right in the mail). No postage due mail will be accepted. And no, I don't sign books sent through the mail. I do, however, happily offer signed bookplates (see below for information). Under no circumstances can I read unpublished manuscripts--stories, books or poems, or excerpts of your work, and I can't answer personal requests for advice and help on magical matters. Fan mail is running a couple of months behind at this point, please be patient.

Note: An SASE means it's a stamped, self-addressed envelope that you fold and put inside of the envelope you mail to Yasmine. Use actual stamps--NOT metered mail.
Bookplates
You can ask for signed bookplates for your books. Yasmine cannot answer requests without SASE's (stamped self-addressed envelopes)--no exceptions.
Bookplates are very cool, muchly. Be sure to print the name you want them made out to clearly. If you do not supply the name you want them signed to, Yasmine will sign them to the person sending the request. She does not just sign bookplates generically and send them out to individuals. You may order a limit of 6 bookplates per envelope, 12 total. If ALL you want are bookplates, send a legal-sized self-addressed envelope with one first class stamp on it for 1-6 bookplates.
Single Postcards & Bookmarks
If you want one of the newest post cards available, or you are missing a couple, send one legal sized self-addressed envelope with one first class stamp affixed to it and a request for the most CURRENT postcard or for the ones you are missing. Maximum three post cards OR four bookmarks OR two postcards and two bookmarks per envelope. The SMALL letter sized envelopes WILL NOT WORK--they aren't big enough.
